Hello from the Flame Factory, we're not trying to be big; we're only in Appledore - family owned and run by Jayne, Angie, Matt & Brian.
we're not trying to be clever; we just want to make great pizzas, burgers, steaks for folks to enjoy in our beautiful Georgian building that stands tall on the Appledore quay front overlooking the calming waters of the estuary.
We are proud of the variety offered in our menu; we've developed vegetarian and vegan lines that are packed full of flavour, plus as we thought hard about how to provide gluten free at the planning stages of our kitchens we offer gluten free pizza bases & burger buns prepared in our gluten free zone.

Lovely setting, friendly, welcoming staff.
The food - well, what can I say - it was delicious!! The pizza was among the best I've ever had, and that includes in Italy. The base was light and crisp with tasty toppings. It's also really nice seeing the skilled pizza chef at work. The steak was delicious too, served with homemade coleslaw and delicious chips.Tuesday 17th May 2022

My boys loved their pizzas and I was particularly taken with the chips (which came with my burger) and the chocolate brownie! Was too busy enjoying myself to take photos….Sunday 17th April 2022
Michael C5 StarReally nice little rustic place. The guys were great, nice and friendly, and the food was amazing. Has got to be one of the best pizzas I've had, and the desserts were even better.
