Sarah & David took charge of the Fox and Hounds in 2016 and have steadily grown the business, winning awards along the way. The emphasis is firmly on hospitality and creating an atmosphere and environment that is welcoming and friendly, an eclectic selection of drinks to suit any palate and a constantly evolving menu which utilises the bounty that the surrounding county has to offer. Stopped off while travelling through . Lovely pub, beautiful decor. Picturesque beer garden. The food was delicious and the Bar man very knowledgeable. We had a recommended Lucky Saint no alcohol beer. And the salmon pate, sourdough and pickled cucumber provided the light bite I wanted.

Fabulous roast dinner and such a friendly welcome from all the team. Thank you for having us and accommodating our chihuahuas too, and letting my husband watch the rugby...nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back.

Great pub with really exceptional food & service. Greeted and seated when we arrived early for our booking. The service is friendly and welcoming. The food is apparently 95+% done onsite, including butchery. The venison pie was THE best pie we've ever tasted: flavourful, generous cuts of meat, minimal to no stuffing, with thin but perfectly cooked pasty. We'd come back and recommend without a second thought. There's also the Jurassic Way footpath that offers a nice 2+ hr out-and-back walk less than 100m from the pub. A good way to build an appetite, or work the food & drink off. Bring Wellingtons.

Highly, highly recommend - a true hidden gem! As a party of 4 diners, we all chose differently from a really interesting menu. All starters, mains and desserts were fantastic! Quality of dishes were outstanding, all served in an incredibly friendly environment. Service was relaxed, efficient, with the perfect balance of fun. If you are in the area, you must drop in, you won’t regret it. 2 of us drove from Coventry and 2 of us drove from Milton Keynes. 100% worth the effort.

We were greeted with a smile which was on all the faces when we were served. Excellent food and a really good atmosphere. Would return to enjoy the food.
