Great place for food. Very friendly. Large outside space & plenty of tables inside too. Service was very good & not too slow even though we were there on the regular Tuesday quiz nigh. The food was well cooked, flavoursome & reasonably priced. We had prawn cocktail, squid, chilli chicken thighs & hunters chicken - there was no room left for dessert! The food arrived & I forgot to take pictures of the starters 🙃

First time visiting for lunch. Nice large outdoor area (some of it covered) and ordering food and drink via app easy. The only downside was the chicken platter was a bit over cooked and some under seasoned. Burger was fine. We will visit again just to try some other dishes.

We had a motorhome stopover here on the way to our ferry. There was a party going on, it was a Saturday night but we weren't disturbed. The staff were friendly and helpful, the biggest let down was the food, standard fare but it seemed that it was mostly microwaved... Expected better from a Greene King pub!

First time visit to this pub. Firstly first impressions lovely pub. The pub itself is warm and friendly. We were met by a lovely girl called Sophia. She was very attentive and nothing was too much. The food itself was amazing cooked to perfection. I had the Turkey and that was so lovely. I’m not usually a roast dinner fan but this was like a home cooked roast to me. I would just to mention The duty manager Jonny who keeps this pub running lovely as all his staff ate very happy and obviously love their job !!

We came to the Fox & Pheasant today for a Remembrance lunch to celebrate my dad's life. This was always his favourite restaurant to come to, and today we had the most wonderful lunch. The food was excellent, Rob, our waiter was absolutely fantastic and really made our day. The staff were all amazing, thank you Chef for a brilliant lunch. There were 12 of us in our family party and the food was served perfectly, and tasted amazing. Thank you all at The Fox & Pheasant for making today so special.
