Our range of dog walking and pet sitting services
Our dog walking Cheddar team was set up in 2008 and was the original Friends for Pets area. It was established with the aim of providing high quality pet sitting services including dog day care and dog walking to Cheddar and the surrounding areas. With little advertising other than word of mouth, the professional dog walking company grew (it still is growing!) requiring extra dog walkers and pet carers to be recruited. The Cheddar dog walking and doggy day care team also covers Winscombe, Churchill, Sandford, Axbridge, Wedmore, Draycott, Cross, Shipham, Langford and surrounding villages. Our Cheddar dog walking team offer a flexible, reliable dog walking and pet sitting service tailored to your pet 's requirements. We offer a variety of pet sitting packages to suit different budgets. All of our team are fully insured and hold a basic disclosure adding the extra benefit of having home security whilst you are away from your home. Our managers are also Canine First Aid Trained. The ladies that we have are lovely and always leave us feedback on their experience with our pet. (Liz & Margaret). Due to our jobs and short shift changes, we often have to cancel and/or ask for somebody really quickly to help us out. We have been really lucky with this and find them really reliable. Often if they have no staff available the girls step in themselves and help out. We really appreciate this. They are honest reliable and trustworthy. Mrs P. Long5 StarI have a nervous frightened rescue lab and the Cheddar team have been amazing with her - Liz takes her out about three or four days most months and has built an amazing rapport with her.
Having used their dog walking service regularly for at least 18 months I thoroughly recommend them.

My two tabby cats - Coppi and Willow - enjoy their visits and although Coppi is nervous(being a rescue cat)he has accepted the visits very well and will even allow grooming.
