Been using this garage for many years now and never had anything except brilliant service from everyone involved. From MOTs to repairs to servicing through to fixing a number plate that had fallen off. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Graham and the team know their stuff and are friendly and helpful with any car issue I've ever needed them for. They're also very reasonable with their charges and have never billed for work that wasn't needed. If it needs doing. they'll tell you. If it doesn't need doing, then it doesn't need doing. If you need garage to fix or service your car / van, then look no further. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Was quoted £560 odd for the repairs required for my MOT from a well known high street garage. The MOT was free though, so no complaints there. Had heard from a family member that Gate Garage was an honest place. Absolutely true. It failed its MOT including emissions, but the mechanical repairs (mainly a broken suspension spring) were £140ish including the MOT test fee. I was able to take the car home to service it myself and try to clean the catalytic converter before they retested its emissions for free and it passed its MOT. I cannot recommend this garage highly enough. Completely honest, fair pricing and no BS, along with old school advice on how to get your car to pass, without trying to sell you something. Three thumbs up. 👍👍👍
