James Button5 StarJust been here for a couple of beers and a spot of lunch - exactly what you'd expect, decent quality, decent prices, hard to go wrong.
What set the place aside was the service - big smiles, friendly banter, lovely atmosphere, and never left waiting. Right up there with the best chain pubs I've visited in recent memory - the staff are an absolute asset. Special mentions to Carla and Julia!Thursday 23rd June 2022
adam wiseman5 StarI rarely come to Bury but today I tried the pub and it was great, food was great, ale/beer selection and food was brilliant. Also, the service from the 2 young women behind the bar was top notch. Happy to come back soon next time I'm in Bury. Fredella Hogg5 StarI worked here 35 years ago and have always used the pub since. The beer is kept perfectly, the bars, public spaces and loos are always clean and the food is great value and served beautifully hot.
There are always great bands playing at the weekends and other activities durin the week.

Always a lovely welcome and great knowledgeable service, he’s a credit to the pub and company!!
