Owner Charlie AKA Nick Charles: I've been involved in various areas of property maintenance for over two decades, having first trained in kitchen fitting upon leaving school.  I was a childhood gymnast and did have a spell teaching school games lessons. I acquired specific, professional experience in gutter cleaning services from 2016 onwards. Gutter Tech was launched in 2019 and continues to offer professional gutter cleaning services to the highest standards.

Services

We offer a complete range of services associated with guttering systems, from vacuuming, exterior washing, dealing with blockages, moss removal, repairs and replacement of individual parts or complete guttering systems.

GT believes in offering a comprehensive service. We meet you at your address, assess the guttering of your property and the gutter cleaning services you require. We consider how best to access the guttering to carry out the work safely and efficiently. We measure up, make a plan and record any specific issues, such as leaks, blockages and replacements that require attention. Then typically, we calculate and produce a quotation for you there and then or for bigger jobs we may email your quotation thereafter, from the office.

Where customers accept a quotation and employ us to carry out gutter cleaning services for them, we sometimes observe further maintenance issues with the property. We typically take photos and may offer advise. If the work is within our remit, we may offer to address these issues at additional cost. Or we may refer you to an alternative trade as appropriate. We would only go ahead with additional, chargeable work with the customers agreement.

We believe in good communication, give honest professional advice and provide itemised quotes to enable customers to choose/prioritise the work to be carried out to best suit a budget. All work is carried out to very high standards and we guarantee our repairs for 12 months.

Gutter Tech takes health & safety seriously and we're insured for all areas of our work keeping you safe. We work in conjunction with industry guidelines, including carrying out appropriate risk assessments for working at height. 

Energy and Environment

We use electricity for vacuum gutter cleaning and water for external washing at the property we're working at. And have set up energy saving devises on both our industrial gutter cleaning vacuums so that we only use your electricity while clearing your gutters and water flow controls on our wash equipment to conserve water - always working effectively and efficiently. We operate a flexible diary system, organising quotations and work appointments to combine journeys as much as possible. Minimising material waste and the use of the appropriate tool for the job is an important aspect of our working practice.

We base our quotations on a pricing structure that realistically reflects the whole time business running costs involved in achieving the best standards for all areas of our associated gutter cleaning services. We are primarily a local business, based in East Carleton, offering gutter cleaning services to customers within an acceptable traveling distance and operate a variable minimum charge to fairly reflect travel time. Scaffolding may be the appropriate access equipment required for areas of work such as new installations. Where Scaffolding is required we use our preferred scaffolders and charge an arrangement fee.
