All of the Hairkandi team provide the highest quality service to guarantee a great experience every time you visit.Hairkandi opened in 2012 and quickly established itself as one of Newmarket's leading salons winning the NDCC Retailer of the Year award in 2013. It also was highly commended in the first for hair category of the velvet awards in 2013. The salon expanded upstairs in 2014 to provide more salon space and also allowed space for a private beauty room. The beauticians working here offer massage, waxing, nail treatments and much more.

I used to regularly have my hair cut and coloured at Hairkandi but I then emigrated to Canada for four years. I returned to the U.K. to settle with my family in June 2021 and before we had even confirmed our flight times I had secured an appointment back at Hairkandi! I have had cuts and colours with Stacey and Lulu who always take the time to talk through exactly what I want, and Ebony gave my (fidgeting) 8 year old a beautiful cut too! The staff are always polite and professional and when you’re sitting in the chair for several hours you can’t help but notice what a lovely team atmosphere there is among the stylists which is so refreshing. I wholeheartedly recommend this salon and always feel great after a visit.

Had my first hair cut here today and I'm so disappointed. The front is longer than the back and it looks like it has all been cut backwards so it's slightly longer at the front - worst hair cut I have ever had! I said at the time it didn't look even. The lady wouldn’t give a refund and just kept saying it looked perfect - not a great experience

Went to see Andrea this morning, she was very good. Listened to what I actually wanted, sectioned and checked it with me before cutting. Regularly checked the photo to make sure the cut was right, took the time to explain why bits that might not look exactly. Cut off the length exactly as I asked for, and styled it all nicely for me at the end.
