Used this store over the last few years purchasing mainly my kids bikes.. the service has never been the greatest.. but more recently I purchased a bike and withon 2 days the brakes failed.. was told it was not a warranty fault??? I would have been happy with it being fixed.. they refused but eventually got a refund. My son persuaded me to re order the bike for his birthday.. I have just been in to collect it and they have ordered the wrong bike.. I don’t give poor feedback lightly.. but Halfords have continued to disappoint on every visit.. Let’s hope they start to listen and improve their sales and service. Both in store and over the phone.

Geoff at Burton store very knowledgeable, very polite, pleasant bloke,great service,great price, Alot cheaper than Ford dealership Drive in/ Drive out in 10 mins and a better service 100% Recommend Halfords at Burton-on-Trent, Thankyou Geoff 😀 👍

Pleasant welcomg staff, always helping and guiding in a better way. Accepts cards and cash, Also got 9% discount on blue light card. Patking space is always available free of cost. Keep it up guys....

Its a shame you have to review halfords as a whole rather than the relevant department, always been dealt qith really well in the store and always had a good experience however the bike side of things really disappointed with, Went in today to get a price on having my carrera serviced, callus looked at the bike he didn't put on the stand to check anything just did a brief check in front said needed a whole chain set and cassette, OK so priced up more than I was willing to spend in servicing, so took the sheet with me, but first after I looked at the sheet I would like to know how he checked the gears as not once did he use the gears in front of me when looking over the bike, and marked the gears change OK He didn't check the tyre pressure etc yet ticked them as OK, it was a rather poor attempted at checking the bike over. Took the bike to evens cycles just up the road and they checked it over and gave me a more realistic price, . Firstly nothing wrong with the cassettes chain would benefit from changing but not effecting anything at present but gone with a new chain anyway, They checked the bike over straight away and checked it on the bike stand so they would have a good understanding Having the bike serviced same silver level as halfords with a new chain for the grand price of £100 compared to the £170 to £180 in which callum had quoted, Safe to say evens got the job, Rest of the store are fantastic but on that front I award the other departments as 5 star as they have always been very helpfull, were as the bike hut part I award 2 star, I hope you take this feedback on board
