Josh Long and the team at Hartwell Ford in Abingdon are brilliant to deal with. They are professional and want to get your needs looked after first and foremost. I enjoy the experience so much that I have been back many times.

I have had an awful experience with this place since the day I got my car. I had been back and forth for multiple problems that never seem to get fixed properly. My car has gone in for an MOT today and has unfortunately failed due to a buckled wheel when I was sold the car I was advised in person along with my plan if I have an MOT with them directly I have a £500 credit limit, it was not explained that not everything is included. Trying to speak with someone directly is near on impossible they have a high turn over of staff the guy I spoke with today whilst trying to resolve my issue advised he was new and did not know what I was talking about and come across very rude and felt like he was not listening to me. I am massively disappointed with everything and don’t know how to even get this resolved now.

I am revising my review to reflect the actions Hartwell took to resolve the issues I experienced when I first took my car in. They responded professionally to my feedback and concerns, apologised for the initial experience and offered a resolution that was acceptable. I have since returned and the recall issue as well as the related problem have been dealt with. As an additional gesture they washed my car. If you do have concerns I recommend following up if not initially happy as the team were willing to listen.

Very disappointed, my car went in for a major service but noticed a week later my oil life reading was still super low so wasn’t sure if they’d forgotten to either do the oil or just reset the tracker. Tried to call the garage and get some advice and the girls on the service team were very nice but couldn’t give me an answer and trying to get through to the workshop seemed impossible. There seems to be a great divide in communication and when they say I’ll give them your number they never call back. I’ll get it sorted somewhere else
