I’m kinda frustrated about the services of Hillary especially their outsourced window blinds fitter today. Before I changed my mind or see any improvement, I left one star. A little summary: 1. In term of price, it isn’t worth it. I recommend to use blind2-go.co.uk in place of Hillarys. 2. The company can’t keep promise. They fail to protect customers but favor to their outsourced fitters. 3. If you compared the similar services in the States and Europe, this company is simply trash. Just 1.5 star, not 3.5 stars. 4. The fitter left all the trash, boxes, and dirts. 5. This company using outsourced fitters and you have to try your luck. If the fitter is rude and no responsibility, Hillarys can’t help you at all. Below is my experience: The window blinds are left a lot of scratches, and I asked for repair and refused the payment as the sales advisor Nadia promised that the full payment will be fixed when everything are done. However, the fitter Hussein from Grain treated me that I have to pay in full immediately or he will take off all my blinds. He never apologized for his bad work and treated me. I called for Nadia’s help, she promised me that I don’t have to pay the full payment but she just compromised the fitter as he said he cooperated with Hillarys for many years. Seems like the whole company is afraid of fitter by sacrificing the benefit of customers. I have to pay in full, and then the fitters left all the trash and boxes in my house. I’ve filed a complaint to the sales advisor and fitter. I gotta say that Chris from this shop is helpful to make a complaint against the bad services.

Roman blinds fixed not even 2 weeks ago, it fell off on my daughter while she was in bed ( no harm done thankfully). Called customer service a few times, told was going to be called back to arrange a fix. Nobody called us back so far. Customer service non existent. Hugely disappointed

My wife and I went to the Hillarys showroom in Guildford and saw an advisor called Hazel. We had ordered some blinds, shutters and an awning and wanted further advice. Hazel could not have been more helpful and understanding. We spent a considerable time there and we’re very happy with the outcome. Hillarys certainly offer excellent advice and service. The advisor who came to us initially was Tony who was also very helpful and knowledgeable on all aspects of our purchases. We now look forward to having all our items installed. Well done Hillarys.

My most sincere opinion. Not value the money. The material of my curtain, not compatible with the price. The installation system is not fixed from the curtain to the bracket. It is a kind of adhesive (not very resistant). Can being made to measure come at a cost? No doubt but £600 on 3 small cotton curtains I don't think it's worth it. Reasonable service. If I would buy it again: never again, especially for the time that follows. I think it should be fair price/benefit, but my husband decided to buy it due to the need for privacy.

This was my first visit to the Hillary’s shop in Guildford. It was a great visit with Hazel leading us through the various blinds and shutters they have for conservatories. I was so so happy to see and feel the various blinds and to see them working too in their displays. That made all the difference to me - maybe I am old fashioned but I do like to see proper sized working examples of what I may be buying. All questions were answered and there was no pressure selling. This was a very worthwhile visit on a very hot day. Let us see how we get on with the next phase - the home visit.
