All staff were very professional and accompanying for our 50th Year Work Celebration. Everyone at the venue was extremely helpful and there was no wait at the bar or for food - very efficient. Food was excellent and everyone who joined us for the evening thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

My husband and I just had Sunday lunch, I never write reviews but it was one of the best roast dinners I’ve ever had so thought it deserved a review! Normally roasts are hit and miss out, but this was not! Fluffy roast potatoes, perfect Yorkshire like the ones you make yourself and crunchy fresh veg and all piping hot! Very very impressed will definitely be my go to for a roast dinner out!

A lovely gold club. I went to a wedding held here, and the revision room was lovely. A good size for 80 person wedding. Lovely decor and tables etc. A function room for a ceilidh which was a tad on the small size but could be opened up into the room with the tables to provide extra space. Nice outdoor decking with plenty of tables to spread out to. Unfortunately a fair few wasps but can't really blame the golf club for that when it was a lovely got day and guests were leaving drinks around outside. Good service as well, particularly Kate who was running the show and kept things moving professionally and smoothly for the happy couple. Would recommend for weddings if you're interested (although I want involved with organising before hand and the like).

Lot of bunkers, and not too well raked, my club has reduced the number to help speed up actual play, even converting one large one into two smaller ones and another large into a pond. Grass very brown and slippery and far too much long rough grass, not far from fairways, to lose balls in.

Course was in good condition and greens (although hollow tinned) were receptive Food has improved greatly from 2 years ago as new chef for the past year 👏👏😁 Staff friendly and helpful
