I have stopped going here. First time a very pushy Chinese lady wouldn’t leave me alone and more recently, a very off hand lady dealt with a return. She wasn’t too bad, not friendly but an older member of staff dealt with a husband returning one perfect item and she was downright rude. I contacted Hobbs to give them a chance to reply but they haven’t even acknowledged my complaint.

Guildford Hobbs is a great place to buy party dresses for all occasions and seasons. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I wanted to buy a dress to attend a December wedding in. I found the dress and a pair of shoes which I love but the lasting impression is the amazing customer service I received. I haven’t received service like that in a long time and it made the experience a genuine pleasure. This experience and service is something the internet can’t offer and sadly, a lot of high street shops are failing to provide too. Thank you Hobbs.

Excellent service received today from Jo when I bought something from the store, and Jo kindly helped me further with an online purchase. As someone who does not enjoy clothes shopping, I was made to feel welcome but not pushed into buying anything.

I selected a suit in this Hobbs branch and Jay the manager could not do enough, sending away for precise tailoring as well. I think it’s a great ladies clothes shop all round!
