Juanita ensures that you and your family have peace of mind over your care needs always being met. Alexia guarantees you meet a warm, smiling person every time she comes to visit you. She is our quality champion and ensures your care is consistently meeting the highest standards and that with her warmth you can confide in her when it isnt and she will put it right! Our Care Professionals are at the heart and soul of the service we provide at Home Instead. Although each one of our Care Professional has their own identity and backstory, they all share a passion for care, and a strong belief in the ethos and values of Home Instead. I have been delighted by the standard of care provided. It has been very professional yet understanding and patient. I have made no request which has not been met immediately. Friends have dropped round unexpectedly but have been made welcome. Trips out to visit a friend, helped with my exercises etc. Thank you for sending such a lovely and capable person. Home Instead have been providing care to Mum for over three years, initially one visit per day but as Mum’s needs increased they were able to increase to 3 visits a day at very short notice. The carers were wonderful with Mum, being patient, caring and loving. They always greeted her with a smile and we felt they genuinely cared for Mum’s welfare. Thank you for providing my brother and me with peace of mind. My mother was keen to retain her independence and stay in the family home but required support to do so. Home Instead took the time to tailor a service to suit her and has provided reliable, regular assistance. They have taken Mum on trips, helped with shopping, meals, chores and have provided companionship throughout that time. This enabled mum to stay in familiar surroundings for longer. As this was my first experience of this type of service I did not completely know what to expect. I found the initial introduction to be informative, understanding and carried out with compassion. A plan was formulated that met our needs and with a few days Care Professionals were visiting our home. I can, from my experience completely recommend Home Instead. I cannot praise the Home Instead team too highly. The care professionals looking after my parents went to endless lengths to keep them happy and comfortable at home, and the office team performed short-notice organisational miracles of all sorts, including, for instance, providing cover when we got Covid and couldn’t visit. Everyone was so kind and so gentle with my increasingly fragile parents. My parents had just started using Home Instead’s services when my father fell and broke his hip. The manager and the team were marvellous in immediately providing the unanticipated extra care needed to make sure they were well looked after. Since then, they have settled into a daily routine with a small team of lovely carers who are all unfailingly kind, willing and able. It has been the most wonderful company I have worked for in the 9 years of my caring career. They are a fantastic well lead care company and most of all their clients come first along with high standards of care being offered by myself and other Care Professionals. Being a Care Professional myself for Home Instead has been a great opportunity to be supported by the management team.

I joined Home Instead in 2022, fairly new to the company but so far I am impressed. I love the job and consider it one of the best I have ever had. Visits last minimum of one hour so you have actual time to spend with clients rather feeling you're constantly rushed off your feet. Excellent training and lovely management that you can easily get hold of when needed, you're never alone and always feel supported. Home Instead cares as much about the employees as it does the clients, great place to work.

They took the time to understand our needs and had a level of calmness and professionalism that was required at a very difficult time. The careers were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Since falling and breaking his neck last year, my 91 year old father has depended on a team of carers in his own home, largely provided by Home Instead. With their continued help and support they have provided my parents the means to remain living independently and together, for which we are very grateful. There have been occasions recently when we have called on Home Instead for last minute unexpected cover and this has been invaluable. My parents particularly like the fact that they know exactly when their carer will be arriving each day (they have 4 visits daily) and the name of the carer. As they tend to be the same carers they have got to know them and formed good relationships with them. The whole Home Instead team from the office to the carers are highly professional and really helpful, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who asks!

When it became clear that a close family member needed support through the final weeks of life I contacted Home Instead, Yeovil, Somerset. I spoke with Mark who was very sensitive to the family situation. After a home meeting the Home Instead team matched my relative with a caregiver with similar interests and experience to provide the care needed. The care provided by the caregiver during the all too brief period of need was excellent. Highly recommended.
