Latest guidance reviews the need for isolation for non-Hospital admissions
The Government has announced that admissions are of less risk if a person has been appropriately vaccinated and the person is being admitted from their own Home and not from another Care Home or Hospital setting.
Residents may be admitted to a care home from the community without needing to complete a 14-day self-isolation period, if they satisfy the requirements. Ask for details.

Richard Westmacott5 StarMy Grandpa was a resident in Homefield Grange from February 2017 to April 2018, He had Lewy Body Dementia and could no longer stand or walk. The staff were exceptional, from day 1 they looked after Grandpa very well. The chef had a very difficult job designing a menu to suit so many different appetites, needs and different illnesses, but each time I was there at mealtimes I was always impressed. The whole family would like to thank all the staff for their care, patience and attentiveness.Monday 4th June 2018
Robin Branston3 StarI put my mother into Homefield Grange for a 8 day respite while I went on holiday and was confident she would love there as I had taken her to see it a couple of times to see if she like it, which she did. My mother went in a happy 93 year old and came out a very unhappy demoralised person. The home is lovely and the staff are efficient but the personal care was missing. Now I am finding it hard to find her another home as she is so frightened, thanks Homefield Grange!!Saturday 6th October 2018
Nicky Fitoussi2 StarGood for respite and residential care in quality surroundings but this home struggles to cope with dementia/alzheimers care. My mother was there in Jan-March 2016 and all types of care (nursing, respite, dementia) are all mixed in together in the same corridors. The home is significantly understaffed (although they did meet legal requirements) and I was obliged to sleep over with my mother on several occasions to care for her as they did not have the staff to cope. The centrally controlled thermostat was set at a stifling 25 degrees so germs thrived well. The staff were pleasant and well meaning but overwhelmed and could only provide essential care. I would not recommend this home for dementia/alzheimers care.Monday 6th June 2016
Dale Barton1 StarTried to lie to me about my fathers care also denied a phone conversation with me about the need to complete a second assessment of my father before his admission to the home from the hospital luckily I recorded the conversation and then reluctantly admitted that a mistake had occurred surprisingly. They later dispatched my father back to the stroke unit which he was previously.Saturday 15th October 2016
