Located on the limestone escarpment known as the Lincoln Edge the village overlooks the city to the north with views of the cathedral and down to the peaceful River Witham Valley to the west. We called in for lunch today, we have a little dog & asked if we could bring her inside while we had food, it was a little chilly outside but we were prepared to sit outside if necessary, the guy who welcomed us was very polite & explained they didn't allow dogs in the food area but was happy to seat us in a quiet corner & brought us a bowl of water for our dog. The food was lovely, we choose off the lunchtime menu which was very reasonable & for an extra £3 you could have a starter or main, we didn't expect the food to be so plentiful or as well presented, it was delicious, the drinks were also lovely & abit different, all in all a very pleasant experience. Thank-you to the staff for making us all so welcome 😊

I visit this restaurant often for work purposes, it's a great setting and the staff are impeccable the food is excellent and reasonable priced. I would recommend this place to anyone.
