I popped into the Guildford store late on Friday afternoon on a mission to buy a bra that fitted properly. I entered the lingerie department and asked an assistant if she could help me. My assistant turned out to the fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and she even stayed on after her official leaving time to make sure I got the perfect bra for me. The size and make of bra turned out to be nothing like I have been wearing for many many years. Seriously ladies, if you ever think "perhaps I am not wearing the right size" head to House of Fraser and ask for Cathy. Fantastic knowledge and great customer service.

Good afternoon. Yesterday I visited the House of Fraser store in Guildford. I selected two dresses and one top from Ted Baker. I tried the items on in Max Mara and spoke directly to the person responsible for the fitting room. She checked the amount of items. However, after trying on the items in the fitting room I decided to leave the items. I then selected another item to purchase which was a dressing gown. Once I got to the House of Fraser cashier in Max Mara two employees (one was an older lady with ginger hair and the other employee was a younger asian woman). Both of them had a discussion in front of me and accused me of theft. The older woman said "There was a Chinese woman in the changing rooms". Whilst the other one accused me of stealing the clothes. Both accused me of theft even though the lady checked the items I took into the fitting rooms. Following this encounter I decided to leave the dressing gown and return home. Before leaving I took a photograph of the store to prove I was there. The older lady shouted at me before I left. I am very disappointed by this behaviour and the attitude of these two members of your team. I believe I was singled out on account of my race. I am frustrated and embarrassed by this situation and the way in which I was falsely accused of theft. I would like to make a formal complaint and receive an apology directly from the people responsible for making me feel this way.

Quite the same as others just least variety and no so many bargains or sales. A shame the disabled toilet was out of service. The changing room is not as such but just a toilet.

I was impressed with what they had to offer...I've mostly avoided shopping here...thinking they would be niche and expensive...but they are not! Will definitely be back!
