Initially the CH (Mum was in Ellwood) seemed a homely place for Mum to be but sadly as the weeks went on I noticed occurrences that concerned me. We therefore withdrew Mum and are looking elsewhere. The majority of the staff were very caring and enjoyed their caring role. I would not recommend this CH. I must add that the Day Centre is excellent.

My Father has stayed for three respite breaks now at Ifield Park, both in Nursing and Residential. His care was kind, supportive and caring and the staff were lovely to him. Will continue to use as needed - very happy with the care provided

Awful 'care' home. If you love your relative this is not the place for them. Staff didn't respond to residents, residents spend their days sleeping it seemed, staff talk about other residents in front of visitors and residents, not enough to drink......I could go on. My lovely nan was a resident in the dementia home but has thankfully been removed now. Check the CQC for reports on care homes if you want the best for your loved one, don't just send them somewhere for your convenience!

Making a comparison with Derswood this place is much better, very clean, quite organized but the staff wasn't so friendly and they put you to work to much. I was booked for 14 hours, i worked 7 without any break i felt faint and dizzy and i left home. To much work!!
