Just stopped for a beer whilst passing, so didn't try the food - the beer was kept nicely enough and tasted fine Pub interior is not sure of its own style and whether it's trying to be modern or traditional - no real ambience The service was not great really - efficient and polite enough but no real warmth or feeling of passionate customer service - quite miserable in fact When we left we took the empty glasses to the bar and expected to catch the eye of and say goodbye to the lady behind the bar who was not busy, just chatting to regulars. She didn't notice us leave or say anything Pretty cool and uninterested service and on that basis I would not go again as our custom wasn't at all appreciated

The food is decent, but not yummy enough to go out of the way to come back. Almost a 4 star rating but they serve mayonnaise in the plastic sachets which is a disappointingly unnecessary use of plastic. Please consider serving a portion in a ramekin rather.

Fantastic menu at a good price,really good portion size. Outstanding service from welcoming staff. Plenty of easy parking and good outdoor seating

Rang ahead to ask permission to stay the night in our motorhome and no problem, we went straight in for a very nice meal each and a couple of beers ,thanks for everything, would definitely call again very peaceful night 👍

Wow, what a pub with such potential! Unfortunately needs work in a number of places, staff being one, as come across rude and pained to do the job. Food needs to be improved with fresh ingredients and less from the bag/pack. Grubby salt and pepper pots along with vinegar bottle made me not wanna touch them, again staff should be all over this ! And menu's came to the table all sticky too, Not great first impressions. Needs managing properly with heart I feel.
