Went here for the first time tonight (won't be the last). Very friendly staff who I had a nice chat with and Wayne even sent me home with half a Scotch Bonnet to try. Portions are really good and the food is extremely tasty and the Jerk Chicken is cooked over charcoal. I will be back! Thanks

This review is late due to unforeseen circumstances. However, I used this catering team in July 2021 to cater at my late fathers funeral wake, as I had been recommended Jerk Station by a very close friend who had previously used them for her functions. I met and spoke to the owners several times before the date to complete food testing and make clear all my requirements for the day, this included food to feed 350 people, and this is what I paid for in advance. On the day of the funeral there was a no problems brough to my or family members attention, the serving staff were polite which was picked up by my friends and family. Although we had a very good turn out on the day, we only had 250 people attend the wake and I had specifically required for none meat eaters (I PAID A FARE FEW POUNDS) for fish to be provided. The nonmeat eaters are a part of the total head count of 250 as previously stated. As the day wound up for the catering staff to finish, a family member went to the kitchen to ask for food and was witness to extra people being in the kitchen that were not a part of the catering team. She was told that there was no more chicken which was a bit puzzling due to the fact that only 250 people attended I had paid for catering to feed for 350 people! my family member was shown a pot of freshly cooked rice and half a pot of mutton, there was no fish left which is the only meat I eat AND I HAD NOT EVEN GETTING ANY. My family member became concerned with the fact that there was none work staff in the kitchen area, who STATED (they are friends) of the management, and they came to help??? they'd come through the back door of the venue which brought you straight into the kitchen. who soon disappeared when my family member started asking questions: where was the leftover food from the day as there was at least 100 people that did not attend? why was one of the chefs throwing away rice as she came into the kitchen? Why had food been given to people to take home without the consent of the bill payer? Why didn't the chef ask the DJ to request for a member to come to the kitchen to discuss what should be done with the leftover food? The questions were raised in response to the explanation given to my family member who has had plenty of experience working with Caribbean caters. When asked what the plan is for the remaining food, the chefs stated to my family member that “you should have brough your own containers”, they would not allow anyone to borrow theirs to take any left-over food. Also, because it was not mentioned when I was given my price it was not their problem. My family member felt as through the conversation with the owners/ Chefs HAD BECOME UNCOMFORTABLE FROM THEIR SIDE!! The more she asked questions, she was being shrugged off by the owners/Chefs final response ending with “we’ve have had a long day, weneed to go home” (NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL) at this point!!!!!My family member had to leave the wake and drive home to collect as many containers as possible and pots, just because they refused to let her use the 2 pot which had food left in them. The caterers just would not budge it was late and dark at this point (Barring in mind it’s been a long and emotional day for us all) when my family member returned the caters had cleaned and packed away everything leaving just the 2 CATERING pots with food(rice and mutton) in them. While emptying the pots one of the caterS/OWNERS returned to collect the pot and just left. The catering cost me thousands of pounds, which is why my family member became upset. The catering team seemed disingenuous with their explanation as to why there were other people in the kitchen when all their staff had left the premises, it is our belief that the left-over food was given away!!

I went here just to get some jerk chicken and rice, ended up eating the food with the owner and had a great chat, the food was absolutely amazing, he gave me some free wings to take away and they were some of the best wings I have ever had. I will definitely go again and I would really recommend this place, everything is juicy tasty and fresh!

Food is absolutely amazing... Arrived this evening as it was closing and the staff were really accommodating in being able to give me what they had. The man recommended the chicken wings and gave me one to try... They are exceptional. I've had jerk chicken from virtually everywhere because I'm obsessed and it's definitely the best place for it, no wonder they didn't have much left! Also lovely they went the extra mile to whip me up some coleslaw when it was the end of the day and they were ready for home. Many thanks and definitely try you won't be disappointed :)
