John Gould Motor Services is an independent garage, undertaking all manner of repairs, service and MOT preparation.

John has 20 years experience in the motor trade. Starting with his apprenticeship at Volvo, moving to Mazda and Land Rover before going on to become a Master Technician at Ford. Both on cars and commercial vehicles, John has a wealth of knowledge and experience and prides himself on his friendly and reliable approach.

He has built his own race car and raced in the MG Trophy, built a BMW race car and has offered his expertise, help and advice on a number of other motor racing projects.

I am really impressed with JG Motors. Full service and rear brake pad replacement on my one year old mini (brake pads was an odd thing to show up on my dash but John was more than happy to take a look and explained what had appeared to have happened before replacing). Competitively priced, lovely chaps and it was a nice atmosphere to walk into. Sometimes, as a woman, I have felt a little out of my depth in garages but I did not feel this at all at JG Motors and no question was too silly. I shall be using again going forward and certainly avoiding mainstream dealerships who lack the same personable service.
