Johnsons Builders Merchants started trading in 1985 under the current owners. Johnsons supply tools, hardware, domestic goods, agricultural and building materials to the local community. The business thrives because it maintains good stock levels and a friendly and helpful approach to customers. In 2004 the business moved to a nearby industrial unit allowing expansion of the merchant and trade side of the business.
Today the shop is still packed full of stock and has a huge range of products. The shop is a busy with trade and public customers and supplies to a wide area; from local towns to farms on Dartmoor. The lively and friendly atmosphere remains as fresh as ever.
