Went to Jolly Nice to try out their new hive coffee shop, I asked for a cake that wasn’t available but was on their menu, so instead I got a brownie only to find that it was frozen, I returned this to which I got a reply ‘oh are they still frozen’ so instead I was given another freezing brownie. We drank at a picnic table which was disgustingly dirty, and all of the bins were bursting full and were only attracting wasps.

What an array of glorious fresh farm produce, cakes, breads and such. In addition, they have preserves, flowers, fabulous cheeses, antiquey goods, in fact all one could want from a farm shop. Really great stop for those extra special items

Lovely visit today. No complaints. Nice food and warm Hut! One thing that is missing tho is a small play area for children. Just a small swing set for example..... I had 2 little boys with me and once finished they could have just done with that. Just an idea....!

We live just round the corner but hadn’t visited since lockdown. Just been today and we are massively impressed with how much Jolly Nice has improved since then! Shout out to the staff member, Jamie, who helped us with a simple misunderstanding with the loyalty card situation as we were turned down for one by a quite unpleasant member of staff behind the counter… Would’ve been 5 stars if it weren’t for that, but safe to say we’ll be back. Jolly Nice are missing a trick by refusing customers loyalty cards this time of year, they’re losing themselves the opportunity for many new customers such as ourselves - we were drawn in by the loyalty discount for Christmas trees, but it will be the farm and hive shops that keep us coming back! (If Jamie didn’t help us get a loyalty card, we don’t think we’d be coming back)

Used to be great, now expensive and not worth it! I used to love popping to Jolly Nice for a coffee and a pastry on my way to work, but it’s massively gone down hill. Moving to the drive through system was fantastic during lockdown, so I can’t fault you there, but I do miss being able to pop in for lunch with my friends (now that lockdown is well and truly over, so no reason why they can’t go back to the old system that actually served pedestrians, and was much more environmentally friendly than having long queues of cars running their engines for extremely long times. It’s definitely not quick anymore). But the biggest issue now is the extortionate prices, and tiny sizes. The other day I wanted a cappuccino, a large because the small is child size, but they don’t put any extra coffee in it! If you want the extra coffee to go into your larger coffee then you are charged £1 per shot! That’s £4.50 for a coffee. But let’s also talk pastry prices, £3.95 for an Almond croissant, crazy! From what I can see in other reviews I am not the only person whose love of Jolly Nice has completely faded out, I won’t visit anymore with the prices and quantities as they are!
