Your dog(s) will be staying with me in my home. They will have full run of my huge garden, lots of games and chill-out time. We also walk on the massive field by Fareham Marina and Cams Rec.
I will send pictures of your pooch throughout the stay and you are always welcome to Skype with them at any time!

NEW*** We now have a Sensory Garden for the dogs! This includes an outdoor activity centre with a digging pit - covered sand pit - 4 tunnels - raised wooden dog house - raised platforms - paddling pools.
We have planted dog-friendly plants for them to self select including Yarrow, Valerian, Meadowsweet, Thyme, Rosemary, Wheatgrass, Marigolds, Ornamental grasses, Mint, Catnip, Chamomile, Vervain and Lavender.
We have also got wooden windchimes and a running water feature which are natural sounds known to calm dogs! Photos of the Sensory Garden here
* We offer 2 FREE half day Daycare visits to all new dogs boarding with us for the first time. This allows your dog to settle in when he/she comes to stay for the first time. It imprints on the brain that my home is somewhere you come together - you leave - then you come back!
All dogs must visit us and pass a social skills test before we can accept them to stay with us.
Your dog(s) are supervised 24/7
We cannot accept entire males or unspayed bitches.
Safety: whilst your dog is staying with us I will attach a tag to his/her collar with my details.

julie Murphy5 StarExcellent. I can't speak highly enough. There are all kinds of things to entertain dogs that need extra stimulation and exercise. Two good walks a day are given- my large whippet comes home totally satisfied.
Although dogs have to have their own food with them, healthy treats of chicken are also given if owners agree. Photos are taken and sent to loving owners, giving reassurance that their dog is truly content. My husband and I are extremely relieved we were told about Suzi. Our dog has been staying with her, regularly for several years.

Wendy Rogers5 StarI can highly recommend Suzi and Just-Like-Home dog boarding. Our 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, stayed for the first time last week and if they could talk, I am sure they would tell me they had a brilliant time. We met with Suzi for first introductions ahead of our stay and saw her wonderful set up, including a sensory garden and play area for the dogs. Toby and Chloe even went for a taster day before their stay, at no extra charge. While we were away Suzi sent us messages and photos to let us know how happy and settled they were. They are now looking forward to their next visit in the summer, while we are totally reassured that they are being very well cared for 😊🐶Sunday 21st April 2019
Liz5 StarI am so glad I found “Just-Like-Home” as Suzi offers a truly amazing atmosphere for dogs. When I first brought Poppy to meet Suzi, my first impression was a place of calm but also a fun and stimulating environment for dogs. It's so comforting to know that when I'm on holiday, I know that Poppy is being very well looked after. Poppy recently had a 2 night stay and during all this very hot weather, Suzi purchased an air con unit to keep all the dogs cool!! Another lovely touch is that Suzi also sends photos and video clips which is great. Looking forward to Poppy’s 10 night stay in August.
