Driving training services
We are a family run firm and have had over 20 years experience in the HGV /LGV and PCV driver training field.
We have many testimonials to compliment us on the superb training they receive. We take great pride in our professional training methods and understand how nerve racking it can be.
Our pass rate is way above average and we will train you to a very high standard and are especially good with the nervous trainee.
This could be the start of a promising career in HGV / LGV or PCV driving or maybe get that larger horsebox you bought and can't drive on the road. Try us, we won't let you down. We will give you the time you need, because we know how important your licence is. We are equally successful with men and ladies. Our vehicles are clean, tidy and well maintained.
Available now to train in are the recent additions to our fleet. A 17 seat mini bus (D1 and with the trailer, D1+E), and covers anyone to drive over 18 years old.
We also now have a 7.5 ton lorry (C1) for anyone who wishes to do an ambulance/paramedic course (very high first time pass rate). Then the C1+E (7.5 + trailer) which is becoming more popular. The trailer we have covers this class.

I did my C&E trailer driving test then came back for my Class 2 the following year.
Wendy was nothing short of brilliant on the phone arranging everything and working out around my shifts (emergency services), Michelle on the phone, texts and social media, and Bob and Pete who instructed me on both courses.
Not only did I learn valuable driving skills, I had fun doing it.
A great team of people who genuinely want the very best for the people they teach.

Adam Clark | Atlantis5 StarI wanted to buy a motorhome so I can take my boy away at weekends and holidays. I was a little confused with what I needed to comply, but after a short conversation with Wendy I had the confidence and understood the driving training that was required.
From start to finish this family run business was patient and encouraging throughout. I have had lots of training ( I work in construction ) over the years, in many areas from many different people.
The training I received is right up their for expertise and value for money. A big shout out to Andy and Michelle who efficiently took me through the process so now I can drive a 7.5t with a trailer ( C1e). Would highly recommend.Saturday 24th June 2023
Jimmy Bowen5 StarWhere can I start! After having another training company not being able to acquire a test I contacted k & w daughters and they really came to my rescue! Sorted me out a test and I didn’t look back.
Went on to do my class 1 c+e training with them. Worked around my busy schedule and other commitments with me and really made me feel at ease / like member of the family tbh!
Can’t thank them enough especially Michele, she really helped me out!

This time last year I couldn’t even drive a car, with the help from K&W I went from a car licence to a Class 1 category C+E in that short time.
K&W service is exemplary and their teaching is industry standard at the highest level of professionalism. I couldn’t have done it without them and am forever grateful for their time, patience, understanding and help along the way.
I couldn’t recommend K&W more. If you are looking to acquire any licence above a standard driving licence, I implore you to book your training through K&W and you won’t be disappointed.
I would love to give thanks to the entire team at K&W especially my trainers Josh and Andy who are both are great instructors with a wealth of experience and wisdom to pass on and with the patience and skills to adapt to all learning types and individuals. As someone who suffers a lot with anxiety and diagnosed ADHD, Andy and Josh are true professionals.
A special thanks to Michelle for organising and assisting me the entire way through with all my theory’s, paper work and test bookings.

Gemma Deacon5 StarI booked my C1+E training through K & W and I can not thank my trainer Josh enough.
K & W dealt with everything from my medical to my CPC, making sure I had advance notice and the correct packs and revision material.
The service that I received from josh was not only professional and friendly but was of an extremely high standard.
Josh was extremely knowledgeable and there wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer.
I wouldn’t have been able to pass with out him helping me through every step and never letting me feel silly!
