At the initial discussion around purchasing the bike they were open to negotiation and a deal was struck. The bike was delivered in the first instance on Wednesday with full service and MOT in place, unfortunately while transit it appears the ignition switch was left in the park position (easy to do having done the same myself) leading to a flat battery on trying to start the bike. Instantly the driver made contact with KD who instructed him to bring the bike back ASAP as they were happy not with the situation, resulting a full re-check of the bike fitting a new battery and delivery back today at no expense to me. Highly delighted with the professional response and service. Qualisys IT 5 reviews 4 months ago- looking for my first bike went to view a yamaha the guys at the shop went out of there way to listen to my needs and wants and pointed me in a different direction explaining issues I would encounter as they had been through them them selves. The guys where not pushy and offered great advice I took the advice and bought a bike there and then. the guys knew I was keen and threw in a quick turn around for my bike and bang the next day I.was off. I recently bought a bike there and...none of the guys in there were patronising nor condescending simply because well...I am a female rider and that kind of attitude is often felt by salesmen etc ( except the one i met at BMW but here we go!!)...!!! Before the purchase I went there and observed the behaviours just to see the responses I would get when i was either asking questions or simply looking around...I didn't find any of the attitude and behaviour experienced with other dealerships KD was remarkably above the mark !! they were very patient too ( lol I return there 3 times looking at potential bikes...and attitudes !! sorry KD !!...I felt welcomed, heard, I also met great and very experienced people there ( just talk to Rick to name only one of them but he has a fascinating past to say the least!!)...Time passed quickly but my mind was mde up and i bought the bike...no pushing no pressure and certainly no trying to sale things I wouldnt need as well as being very accomodating...just ace !!..I know we are all humans faults etc etc but I do trust these guys and their knowlewdge...no doubt I will buy there again and have a chat ...and a coffee which was offered as soon as I got in there...So I extend my thank you to them personally via this review and invite the rest of you out there to go there and have a look and buy after a priority visit to their dealership...:) An ongoing Very happy rider.Thanks Great service from Danny and the team. Unfortunately bought my KTM from a different dealer (wish I hadn't!) and had a couple of issues, about which the original dealer didn't even respond to my emails. KD sorted both issues under warranty, without question, one at first service and one at a return visit. Both times, i was given the use of a top end courtesy bike. Fantastic customer experience! Took a while to fix but they were determined to make sure it was right before I got it. Delivered to Glasgow for free. Had it a day only to discover a couple of unforeseen faults. They gave me my choice of their demonstrators while mine was back in. Delivered back to Glasgow when it suited me again. A lot of places wouldn’t have given a monkey’s once the sale had been made but they were spot on. Highly recommended. Edit: decided a Multistrada wasn’t for me. Have gone for a Tracer which is what I had as a courtesy bike. Changeover could not have been easier and the bike is fantastic. Doubt I’ll use a different dealer in the future. Picked up my Yamaha MT 09 a few days ago. What an amazing bike. Cant give it enough praise. All because Andrew Hartshorne lent me their demonstrator! With a tiny 14 litre fuel tank I've even got over 200 miles before refuelling. I'm a newbie just starting out with riding a bike and came today to choose a helmet with my OH. Amie was brilliant. She is knowledgeable and patient and willing to take her time with you. She listened and she talked me through all the features that are essential. She took into account my fear of claustrophobia and made sure that i had the correct fit and let me wear the helmet until i was ready to leave! Quite rightly too, as a helmet needs to be comfortable and feel part of you. She even recommended the unmentionable leggings! ???? We will be returning to collect our helmets later in the week. It occurred on a Sunday the following day was a bank holiday and I was due to leave Tuesday I didn’t think there was any chance of getting it sorted In time but I spoke to Andrew on the Sunday afternoon, bike was dropped off on the bank holiday Monday, they managed to source the parts and get the bike sorted ready to go by Tuesday afternoon. 5* service and I would 100% recommend. Just taken delivery of my partners new KTM Duke 125 and the service has been outstanding. Ian has been brilliant to deal with, very helpful and kept us updated on what was happening. Delivered this morning by Dave, very friendly and helpful chap. My partner is over the moon and the bike is perfect. I picked the bike up Saturday and returned home, I was told Monday there was a computer glitch on the bike. Tony made a round trip of over 500 miles on Tuesday to fix it.
