Kilbrannan Guest House

We are Gary & Julie Smith and are the proud owners of Kilbrannan Guest House. Our house has recently undergone a complete rewire to ensure the safety of our guests. No gimmicks, no airs or graces, just lovely, spotlessly clean, covid safe, well equipped accommodation close to all Great Yarmouth has to offer, with outstanding customer service and fantastic breakfasts (and we have the awards to prove it). All rooms are En-Suite and 1 has a full sized private bathroom attached. Free WIFI access, DVD player, Flat Screen TVs including smart TVs to most rooms, USB sockets and a good size refrigerator also accompany the many other facilities in each room. Families are very welcome but unfortunately we can't accept children aged under 4 years. We are ideally situated on Trafalgar Road, Great Yarmouth with the seafront only a 2 minute walk, St George's park only a 2 minute walk, the town centre only a 5 minute walk and all local attractions and amenities within easy reach. We also won a Gold award in the 'Great Yarmouth and Gorleston in Bloom' competition in the category 'Best Guesthouse' and are the overall winners which we are very proud of too as we love our flowers and plants. Our Guesthouse is strictly non-smoking. Parking is free at Kilbrannan Guest House as we have permits for street parking and also have space for up to 2 cars in a private car park or 5 bikes on the side of the property (subject to availability). Your room should be ready early afternoon but if you would like to arrive early we will provide parking from 12:00. If your room is ready when you arrive, then we will check you in at that time. Don't worry if you intend to arrive by train or coach as the stations are only a few minutes drive away and you should find taxis just outside. Alternatively, it only takes roughly 15 minutes to walk to us. We hope to hear from you soon! Gary & Julie Thank you

It was like staying with relatives! Gary and Julie were so friendly and attentive; nothing was too much trouble. Great location, extensive breakfast options and absolutely spotless. Can’t fault the guest house or the hosts. Wonderful experience. Couldn’t recommend enough and I’ll definitely be back soon.

What a great little guest house. Gary and Julie so welcoming. We text how long we would be before arrival Gray came out to meet us showed us parking spot and carried our bag for us. Julie gave us a great welcome loads of information and milk in fridge to go with loads if coffee and tea in our room. Even chocolate brownies freshly made. Great clean big room and bathroom massive. Far exceeded expectations. Excellent from start to finish. Very warm welcome, lovely homely room that was spotlessly clean and could not fault the delicious breakfast, lots of choice and top quality. Really didn't want to leave.

Absolutely fantastic! Gary met us at the door in the pouring rain & showed us to our parking space. Super friendly checking in was quick. Gary gave us all info we needed. Then showed us to our beautiful BIG room. It was amazing the bathroom was massive & the bath wow!!! Everywhere was immaculate!lovely comfy bed & sofa smart TV too. Both Julie & Gary were really nice & friendly. The breakfast menu is fantastic! We both had full English & again a big wow! Absolutely perfect all ingredients top notch too.

Excellent couple of days stay at the Kilbrannan, would highly recommend, we were made to feel so welcome, didn't want for anything, a home from home. Spotlessly clean and breakfast was excellent, Julie and Gary were the perfect hosts.
