The most amazing nursing home ever visited. My granddad was sadly only here for a few weeks before he passed but the staff at the Kingfisher made them some of the most wonderful of his life. The staff and the whole place oozes tender love and care. Nothing was ever too much for them. Best choice ever made. To sum it up all areas were excellent. Highly recommend no need to think twice. After being advised from the hospital that my 91 year old mum now requires to be in a nursing home rather than returning to her familiar residential home I felt very upset but then I spoke to Mary the home manager of the Kingfisher Nursing Home and my mind was set at ease, Mary could not of been more helpful and caring in finding mum a bed at the Kingfisher and during this difficult time of COVID where I have been unable to view the home a guided virtual tour was given by the lovely carer Debbie. It is such a distressing time but my whole experience so far has been nothing but positive and I thank them very much as I feel 100% confident that mum is in the best place.

My sister in law has been a resident of Kingfisher for a few weeks now, the change in her is a joy to see, she is well looked after, and has been "decorating" her room with her treasures from home. Mary and the staff are caring, supportive, and go the "extra mile" for the residents. We know this as we telephone every day for a video chat, and we live on the other side of the world. Thank you Mary and all the staff.
