At Kip McGrath Ramsbottom, our team of professionally-qualified teachers offer the best in private tuition in a range of areas including Reading, Spelling, English and maths, for children from the age of 6 years old.Each child is given a free assessment and has a tailor made programme created to suit their individual needs. We have a range of resources such as a carefully constructed Reading Programme, including an Early Reading Programme for infant children, unique worksheets and textbooks covering all of the skills that children need and bespoke educational software for computer-assisted learning.Using these materials, and receiving one to one guidance, the confidence of children who struggle with their school work is significantly boosted as they progress at their own pace. I cannot recommend Lee at Kip McGrath enough. My daughter attended to prepare for her GCSEs and not only did we see her improve academically but her confidence increased too. It is a warm and friendly environment, the tutors are very engaging with the students and we found that she looked forward to going it was never a chore. So much so that she wants to continue attending through summer to prepare for A Levels. I think Lee has been pivotal in ensuring she reaches her full potential. If you are considering getting extra help for your year 10 particularly given the disruption to schooling this year I wouldn’t hesitate in going to Lee at Kip McGrath

Have been using Lee and Ray from Kip McGrath, Ramsbottom to help my children with their GCSEs for over a year now. Both Lee and Ray deliver a very clear method of how to explain theories and practical exercises for the children to understand and replicate. Lee has taught my daughter maths for the past two years. She started off with zero confidence and gaps in learning and is now working really well and set to pass her GCSE. I can’t thank Lee enough for the support he has given to Molly, especially through Lockdown. A brilliant centre for learning and one which I will certainly be using for my youngest daughter in the future.

Lee is professional and friendly and it was easy to arrange an assessment for my daughter. He quickly understood her skills and weaknesses and picked out a plan to help her progress.
