It's cheap-ish and the closest to me, so I use it. Broken equipment will stay broken for a long while as staff don't seem to care. Temperatures are consistently higher inside than outside, which means that during the summer it's unbearably hot. No issues sweating during training, but it really is too hot for a gym. Spa is not worth it and again hit and miss if it's working or the right temperatures. Good choice of classes which are free for members. Can't comment on swimming pool as I don't use it although that is the main attraction, I guess.

New leisure centre with good facilities (remember to put your registration plate in at reception for 3 hours free parking). At weekends the hall wit courts is often multipurpose so can be noisy. Most courts have a green curtain between so it is private and rare for balls to go under them, but people do walk behind courts (so depending on what court you can have to pause your game) but this is the case in most leisure centres. Booking badminton at weekends hasn't been an issue, we've been able to get a court every time so far. Definitely the nicest leisure centre I've used in the area.

The parking is big but paid extra unless you're a member. Changing rooms are adequate. Lockers are paid for 20p for each use, unless you're a member with a card. Sauna and steam room are small. The gym itself is big and well equipped, but the music (radio) is ludicrously loud. There is an eGym with equipment activated with a contacless tag.

Shabby and unkempt, unhelpful, indifferent staff, most are ok, however there are a few truly vile people working there. Has really gone down hill. Little wonder so many people are cancelling memberships and going to Pure Gym.

Very nice sports centre with a café with big windows to look out the park. Shame the café closes quite early. The sport hall is nice with a wooden floor and decent lighting. 6 badminton courts.
