Macartney Forbes4 StarPretty good process for recycling any old iron, or in my case a box of electrical cables and mixed metals bits and bobs. Bring a Hi Vis vest. Drive into site and onto weighbridge, talk to site manager in cabin at the window and he will give you a chitty. Copper weighed separately to mixed metals. I left site with a cheque to the value and they are happy to take bank details and pay you online instead. Only grumble, is the hanging around as site manager fielding phone calls, managing contract/regular customers and as I waited, also doing deals for future contracts.
