Little Gems Day Nursery

Little Gems Day Nursery is a family business situated in a lovely and spacious historic building in the town of Sleaford, Lincolnshire. We want to ensure that your child feels relaxed, safe and happy at nursery, to be able to see them strive to the best of their abilities and most importantly have lots of FUN! We offer a variety of play experiences and resources for your child to ensure they can develop and grow to their full potential. We know that children learn best through exploring, investigation and hands on experience and here at Little Gems, they will have every opportunity to do this in their play both indoors and outdoors. Staff are trained in first aid, safeguarding, health and safety alongside lots of other play and learning training. All staff hold an enhanced criminal DBS check. Staff are always updating their knowledge through day courses and online training to ensure they can provide the best opportunities for the children. We pride ourselves on teamwork and our practitioners work hard as a team to provide the best opportunities for our children. The nursery team share ideas and information on a daily basis to develop the skills within the team and ensure safety of the children is priority. We work in partnership with parents, carers and families as we believe as your child’s main carer you know best and in order for us to support your child fully we need strong partnerships with you. Practitioners work closely with families to share information and ideas and to ensure they can support your child as they grow. Our play rooms are set out in a way that is inviting to children and also provides them with stimulation throughout the day to ensure learning goals are achieved. The nursery is designed as a home from home environment so children can feel comfortable and relaxed within their surroundings. We believe in order for children to learn and develop they must feel comfortable and happy within the setting so ensuring our environment is inviting and practitioners are friendly, caring and inviting is paramount for us.
