Honestly speaking, it was our first meal here. Some of the food seemed similar in taste and sugared up. Will give it one more shot to verify if this genuine Indian food or more of the ever present adapted food to meet English context
All the food was lovely. I particularly liked the way the lamb was cooked; it was very tender. The only thing I didn't like was the bright orange liquid in a pot. I thought the extreme colour was very off-putting. However, my mom really liked it.
Been ordering from here online past few years. Food quality is the best around and I've tried almost every Indian restaurant in the local area (Lichfield, Barton under Needwood etc). Portion sizes are usually very good however my only comment is the bread sizes. Their naan breads over the past few months are literally half the size they used to be - noticed this starting in November 21. Now they're barely worth ordering. I also order Chapatis (note that's plural) but my takeaway yesterday only had one and a quarter of it was undercooked and still doughy. I'll still order from here but I suggest they review their bread portion sizes if they wish to retain my custom long term.
We had a large order for seven people, collected as we are not far away. The quality of the food was excellent, all well packaged and piping hot, just a small wait but that was fine, knowing that it had all been freshly cooked. A delicious meal which made the evening a great success!
