Tom Holmes5 StarLKM collected two scrap cars from me this morning. I was very impressed with their service from my initial enquiry through to the collection this morning.
I got some quotes from their website and confirmed everything with an agent on live chat. This was then followed up by a phone call from a member of staff that confirmed the collection date and the prices.
I also received a phone call yesterday confirming the driver would turn up between 7-12 and that he'd ring me before arriving.
Dean (pretty sure that was his name) gave me a call five minutes before arriving. As both the scrap vehicles were running he had them loaded and strapped down in about fifteen minutes. I was then given my paperwork and cheques. The whole process took no longer than half an hour.

ROGER KRETZSCHMAR5 StarIf only more companies were like this. Got online price for collection of old car, within 10 minutes had confirmation call and collection date. Day before collection had courtesy call to confirm, driver arrived next day on time, he called to say he was 10 minutes away, sorted DVLA paperwork, paid me the agreed amount by cheque with no trying to chip me and took car away. Gordon Penny5 StarMy car pretty much died of old age so I contacted a few local salvage yards for offers. LKM paid three times the amount offered by the company recommended by my local garage.
LKM responded to my on-line request within minutes and arranged an appointment for collection and explained in detail what would happen, and also phoned to remind me a couple of days before collection.
The driver who collected the car was very polite and completed the paper work, gave me a cheque and explained what I needed to do to tell DVLA.
I thoroughly recommend LKM and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.Monday 30th October 2017
tony blythe5 StarJust had my car picked up from lkm the service from start to finish was outstanding from making the first call and then getting the call back and reminder the girls who I spoke to were very professional and friendly. The driver Tony who picked up the car from me went above and beyond what he had to do to get the car loaded a credit to your team. Well done all a great service.Saturday 15th December 2018
BK5 StarVery good service - everything confirmed by email beforehand and also rang me several times before pickup. Took away my 16 year old VW Bora promptly and paid me £120 for it which I thought reasonable. Issued certificate of destruction by email. Hassle free and professional.Wednesday 1st August 2018
