Really positive experience! Great to work with someone who holds old school values to heart when it comes to doing a job and doing it well. Dean was very friendly and professional from start to finish, he did a very thorough job and contacted me after the final report had been sent to go through it with me to ensure that I understood everything and to provide me with the opportunity to ask questions and get things clarified. I chose Dean because of the reviews I'd read beforehand, and even though I had 2 cheaper quotes it proved a good decision and was money well spent, I would definitely recommend his services. Dean was great from start to finish and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. He took plenty of time to discuss our initial concerns and reason for the survey and talk through the level of survey we would need. The survey was delivered quickly and report followed within a day or so where Dean also spent time talking through each point and his thoughts, making sure to answer questions as we worked through. We chose Lock and Key on the basis of the reviews and Dean did not disappoint. We had a highly personalised service. Because Dean explained everything before the survey, we understood the nature of the survey, the cost and it’s limitations. Dean did a detailed level 2 report on a flat I am planning to buy. I went through the Web based booking system which works well, although you do have to pay up front (times have changed since I last used a surveyor, but no issues). Dean arranged a date and time directly with the vendors and was there as promised last Wednesday, with the report available online by the Thursday afternoon. Dean then followed this up with a phone call to discuss the finer points. Great communication dealing direct with a local surveyor, and very professional. Recommended.
