Lopen Raj, Authentic Indian & Thai Restaurant was founded by the Ahmed family in 2016 at Lopenhead. The Ahmed brothers brought their 10 years of experience to this place to create some extraordinary dishes enjoyed by locals and visitors to the area. The quality of food and service made Lopen Raj renowned and we quickly became the number one restaurant in South Petherton. Been meaning to try this restaurant for a while, and glad we did!! Went for an afternoon banquet menu, which is amazing value for money. Huge amount of choice and all served with excellent presentation. Food was wonderful and very flavourful. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back! Honestly, it’s delicious! My partner and I had a meal here one Monday evening, was really quiet and chill–just perfect. Staff is always friendly and the food is always spot-on. Can’t complain about prices as this is one of those special occasion places, after all.

My food was nice but my partner who is vegan was served non vegan food, order completely wrong and mushrooms which were cooked in butter. After being informed half of the 'vegan menu' was not available as vegan. But disappointing really!

Delicious food. Indian dishes were flavoursome and the chicken burger was good. Great to have somewhere that offers Indian, burgers and steaks under one roof.
