An absolute gem in the heart of Hawkshead been open just a few weeks. The food was outstanding best tapas I have ever had. The puddings is a must and the service is 2nd to none definitely be back again wish them good luck in their new business and when word get round there will definitely be a queue out the door

Food was nice enough but even for tapas the small plates had miserly portions (yes I know tapas is small plates) , I'm sorry, but I don't expect to pay £20 each for a meal and go home and all 5 of us want something else to eat. The best part of £5 for e.g. a couple of thumb sized croquettes or 2 chopped prawns with about an inch and a half of chopped chorizo is IMHO not acceptable and £2.85 for 2 tiny bread rolls (pan apparently) which frankly were no better than the co-op mini rolls left us speechless. Reading the other reviews and I wonder if we went to the same place?? Sorry I would not recommend this restaurant.

Would definitely recommend the takeaway pizzas on Sunday. Looking forward to dining inside when we head back to Hawkshead next Easter.

Fabulous meal here last night. Food was amazing , lovely wine and really friendly staff and it turned out to be the cheapest meal we’ve had this week. Had it not been the last night of our break we would be returning! We would highly recommend a visit.
