Lotus Pod House Homestay, micro-B&B

Lotus Pod House was established early 2018 in a lovely Victorian house in Aldershot. Work circumstances led to a move to Woking in March 2021, where I set up in an early 1900's cottage-type town house, which at present I am gradually re-decorating and designing to become as quirky and nice a place as our still much missed home in Aldershot was. We love our new home though, and hope you will love it too. 

Big plans for the downstairs living and kitchen area renovations are imminent and will gradually take place throughout this Summer, which means that at times we will close or take limited bookings only. 

Our home is very much a family house that is lived in, and not a showcase, but you will find all the amenities you need within clean facilities. I aim to provide guests a 'home away from home'. For stays under 1 week I will provide a simple (semi-continental) breakfast including coffee & tea during your stay.

You will have access to living room, kitchen and bathroom and are invited to make the place your own. I want you to feel comfortable during your stay and feel at home, which also means that you will leave the place in a clean and tidy state as you would do at home. 

Before you decide to request a booking, Please take note of the house rules section. This is a very strict non-smoking property which includes the garden and front-of-house ! Please note that there is a friendly cat in the property named Suki.

Although I do occasionally take direct bookings, bookings are generally taken through Tripadvisor,  Homestay.com, Homeaway & Booking.com. For direct bookings I do ask for a recent proof of address and id in advance for safety purposes. In such cases, dates on other platforms will only be blocked for max. 6 hours, so direct payment through fast transfer is needed to reserve those dates. Booking requests can be submitted through email message and generally will be answered within 1-4 hours.
