Loved this experience. It was the only bridal shop where I felt like it was ‘the dream’ fitting you imagine in movies. So many gorgeous dresses and Isabella and her team were so friendly and warm. Isabella is very particular about making the dress perfect and can add or take away things. Very welcoming, professional and kind! They made me feel beautiful xx

Couldn’t have had a better experience at Love Spell. Every member of staff was exceptional, professional and made me feel so comfortable!!!! My dress was just the dream and the staff were very patient with alterations and my veil was breathtaking! The dresses are unique and I would recommend this shop to anyone! Endless thank yous!

I went to Love Spell’s Guildford shop. The ladies were so friendly, I was a bit nervous about going dress shopping but they instantly put me at ease. I had seen what I thought was my dream dress online and booked my appointment to go and see it. As soon as I saw the dress I knew it was ‘the one’. The ladies were so sweet telling me how beautiful it looked and helped me pair it with the most gorgeous veil. We tried on a handful of other dresses for comparison which was a really fun experience, and having a glass of bubbles in hand just made it even more special. I brought my dress then and there, and the beautiful veil. A massive thank you to the ladies at Love Spell for all of their help and encouragement. I just can’t wait for my next appointment to try it all on again 😊 x

Beautiful dress but poor customer experience. Starting with the positives - the dress was beautiful and the fit was perfection thanks to the hard work of the seamstress. However Love Spell's customer care is very poor. I initially booked into their Guilford showroom which on the website calls them beautiful spaces. Unfortunately it was the back of a dry cleaners in a shopping mall. Their London showroom is much nicer but I'd only wished they'd said this to me before I booked as the initial dress shopping experience was tarnished by the inadequate space. I decided to go for a dress which combined two styles; taking the skirt of one dress and the top of another. The first time seeing the new dress I wasn't 100% sure of the fit or look but was told simply its too big around the top and just needed the straps shortening and would be ok. At this point they did not make it clear that I once I paid the final amount then all responsibility of the dress is no longer theirs. I paid the amount then met their seamstress to improve the fit. The seamstress told me that a lot more work had to be done, the top half was in fact too long and wasnt a simple shortening of the straps to fix. It ended up costing me an additional £600! This cost was totally understandable for the work the seamstress needed to do but was angry that Love Spell had reassured me it was a simple fix and did not consider the dress pattern better when making it. When I rang Love Spell to complain about this all I got was - you have paid for the dress in full it is no longer our responsibility, despite still going to their London showroom for fittings. I felt the customer care was extremely poor and they simply weren't open to helping now that I had paid for the dress. Final complaint is only minor but again shows how they will say anything to get you to buy the dress but once paid they are no longer interested. I asked back in Guilford once I had said yes to the dress if I could get fitted in London as its a nicer experience but get the dress sent back to Guilford when ready for collection. They said yes as their dresses frequently make the trip between the two showrooms. But when the day came for me to organize my dress collection I was told I'd need to pay for a courier for this to be done. Overall the dress was beautiful and I have to say a huge thanks to the seamstress for working her magic. I was just very sad at how bad Love Spell were when complications arose and how little they tried to help,.

Isabella and the team at Love Spell went ABOVE AND BEYOND to save my special day. I first came to them and fell in love with the Evangeline dress. Because it was more than I wanted to spend, I went away and found a slightly cheaper dress online which looked very similar. Needless to say, this internet purchase turned out to be a disaster. With only three months until my wedding day. I went back to Love Spell in a panic and they did absolutely everything in their power to create, customise and fit my Evangeline dress in time for my wedding day - and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I learnt my lesson the hard (and expensive) way. The higher price tag at Love Spell was worth every single penny for the outstanding customer service, incredible communication and more than anything, the highest quality, jaw-droppingly beautiful dress they created and customised for my wedding day.
