Ann and Cliff Thompson welcome you to Low Rigg Farm bed & breakfast. A working dairy farm set in beautiful Hadrian's Wall countryside situated only a few minutes walk from the picturesque village of Walton, which has a large village green with children's play area.

Our hosts were friendly and this B&B was charming. Excellent breakfast. The backyard was tranquil. The bed was soft and cozy. A great place to spend the night!

Lovely rooms, very comfortable and clean. Hosts were nice and breakfast was varied and well cooked. I thought the price was reasonable for all what you got, I would have preferred an en-suite but a shared bathroom did not detract from the stay.

We loved our stay at Low Rigg Farm. Ann greeted us warmly and took care of anything we might need after our long day's walk. We had a comfortable sleep in a spacious room with good hot shower, then a delicious breakfast with wonderful company. We loved waking up to the quiet, misty fields and the sounds of the farm animals waiting for their breakfast! There is a shortcut from the farm to the walking path heading west, so it won't add to your journey to Carlisle.
