Located in the picturesque village of Attenborough, only 5 miles from Nottingham and close to the Attenborough Nature Reserve.

The Lucy and Vincent Brown Village Hall at Attenborough is at the heart of the village activities. It offers facilities for many regular users ie: Pre-School, Care Group,  Dancing, Women's Club, WI, Cubs, Beavers, Guides and Scouts, Painting Classes, Slimmers' World and Weightwatchers.

The Hall is also available to hire for private parties, weddings and other events for which it is ideally suited, with three separate function rooms, extensive private garden and off street parking.

The Hall was built in 1958 on land donated by the Southwell Diocese and paid for by Vincent Brown in honour of his late wife, Lucy. It was further extended in 1964 and again in 2007 with a legacy from Miss Poyser, a village resident.

Recently USB charging points and Wi-Fi have been installed.

If you are looking for spacious venue with amazing service and help with your function I would definitely recommend. The hall is very well fitted out and includes plenty of space as has two halls a larger one and smaller one at the rear not to mention two kitchens also. The jewel in the crown is the private garden which is also available which makes the centre perfect for events. Cannot speak highly enough of the team who manage and maintain this lovely place for all. Thank you!

Great place for a medium sized wedding reception, 100-150 people. Self catering. Lovely garden for kids to burn off energy.

An economy-build structure from 1956(?) gifted by a local family. Designed to meet the wide needs of a vibrant villages' community which it amply fulfills. From this perspective it is an enormous success, and modestly splendid.
