I scrapped my vehicle in 2016 with Lydd Car Breakers, however they did not scrap it, instead someone was driving the vehicle around and getting parking fines (DVLA was notified/ownership changed, not soon enough though!) however I was hit with three large fines in the short space of time just after when I handed the vehicle over. Would not recommend using them as its just been hassle ever since.
