The traditional method of rendering or plastering older properties. This is essential to allow the walls to ‘breath’ letting moisture created inside the property out and also more importantly moisture entering the property walls from outside (most commonly rain) to escape (evaporate) without being trapped behind a solid render barrier.

Matt was recommended to us by our Surveyor and was very knowledgeable and reliable. In particular in respect of damage to our Grade 2 listed cottage. He made sure only the traditional methods and materials were used, supervised and coordinated others tradesmen and left the site clean and tidy. We wouldn’t hesitate to use him again and highly recommend him.

Matt was recommended to us by our painter, Our house had a serious problem with one particular wall which had an assortment of renders and fillings and none of them effective we had rain coming in through the walls in the storms. Matt stripped the wall back to rock and built up the new lime render in stages. It's now finished and looks brilliant. Matt kept us informed at every stage. The job was finished on time and budget and to very high quality. We then also had internal walls in the kitchen sorted out by Matt, one of which was again lime rendered.

Had Matt do a kitchen for us, complete ceiling and one whole wall, also did some lovely work under the stairs which was quite difficult. I rate Matt very high, very pleased with the work at a very good cost, highly recommended.

Matt just put up some internal cork insulation and finished in a lime render, and rendered 3 bedrooms and patched up a mess around our new cooker. His knowledge, skill attention to detail is exceptional. He's a pleasure to have around. He was also very flexible with his time as you need to be with natural materials. Hopefully he'll be back soon to do our lounge. Its rare to find someone this good.
