Wendy Yarnell4 StarWe took advantage of a gift of Afternoon Tea. All staff on duty were helpful and polite. The standard of the food was very good. The restaurant and decor were all very pleasant and clean.
There was a pianist on duty but no where near where we asked to sit. I would say nobody would have been able to hear the pianist. We were sat in the back restaurant.
Some blinds would be beneficial in the back restaurant as the sun was very strong and nothing on the windows made it uncomfortable for those sat opposite the window.Monday 31st January 2022
Monique Debono4 StarBeautiful decor and attentive staff. Vegetarian options could have been better. Know it's a steak restaurant but lots of carnivores have vegetarian partnersSunday 22nd May 2022
David Norris3 StarDinner here yesterday was pleasant enough. Starters a little stingy. Steaks were good. Pudding good too. But it really is expensive. And you’re paying for the name over the door - I would say 40% of the bill is for that name. So if you’re happy to pay for the name ok. There are equally good places in Folkestone for much less.Saturday 5th February 2022
Lorraine Marsh2 StarFood and service are average. When coming to restaurants owned by famous chefs, it is not unusual to set a level of expectation. Unfortunately, our experience fell below standard. The service was also quite poor as the staff were just running around to fulfill table services rather than genuinely wanting customers to have a great dining experience. I wish I could rate this dinner more than 2 stars but there is just nowhere to find a better rating.Sunday 2nd January 2022
Loren Paine4 StarLovely little bar with clear domes outside for an exclusive little table. You can’t go wrong with a nice steak frites, red wine and chocolate mousse. *chefs kiss*Saturday 30th April 2022
