Hi, I’m Marie Sanders, the cake maker who loves to make delicious cakes and bakes.
I’m a Milton Keynes cake maker with real love for creating beautiful speciality cakes. It all started by making unique cakes for friends. I got excited with all the inspiring decoration I could create from flowers to Peter Rabbit, however,
friends only have so many celebrations a year and I couldn’t eat them all (I have tried!). So Marie Makes was established…
I am a cake maker based in Milton Keynes and I can deliver all over the local area; if you are further afield, don’t fret, I can post lots of things too.

Indi Shanan5 StarMarie has now made me 4 cakes. Every cake has been amazing. She is one of the only cake makers who has manged to make cakes look exactly as any image I have sent her and her cakes also taste yummy. I even set her a challenge of Swiss meringue buttercream and no design seems to have fazed her as of yet. All cakes have been delivered punctually and she is very reasonably priced.

Marie was wonderful to speak to, kept in touch and got back to me quickly with questions etc. Cake was delivered on time and looked absolutely fantastic. Emily King5 StarMarie very kindly made our wedding cake, a fantastic 3-tiered lemon drizzle! It was so delicious and just perfect! She was extremely kind, prompt and passionate about her work, and was so helpful in helping us choose the design. We received some taster cupcakes which really helped us to have the confidence we had made the right decision, she also filled our dietary requirements perfectly. The wooden topper was excellent! Marie took the time to understand what we were after, gave us her suggestions and was patient enough until we found out what we wanted.
