Mark Beech Nursery School is excellent. My child goes here and also to another nursery, he only wants to go to Mark Beech. Exactly the same thing also happened with my daughter several years before with a different second nursery, and comparing notes with other parents from my daughters year they all experienced the same thing. It's because Mark Beech promotes a kind, happy caring environment that is most of all fun. As the nursery operates as a forest school, the children are outside the majority of the time, which they love. The setting is idyllic. The school formerly only had one day per week as forest school; this was so popular and over subscribed. Now it is forest school every day. When it is cold or raining heavily there is a large and warm shepherds hut where the children can shelter, along with many camps within the site. As it is outdoor, there have been no covid restrictions so both parents, and other family members have been able to attend for example the nativity play. Most of the children here go on to school at Chiddingstone so it is a good way to know future schoolmates if that is where your child is headed. Mrs Roberts-Cleeve has run the nursery for over 55 years and while she no longer provides the childcare herself, it is great for the children to get to know her. Many of the parents at the nursery also attended themselves as children which is also a special thing! The school accepts childcare vouchers and the kids can stay one extra hour to eat their lunch if desired.
