My sunroof on my Clio had been leaking for a while but every garage that I contacted had a long waiting list or wanted more money than I had to spend. I found Martin Bridle on a whim and he managed to see me the same day. He is a lovely man and did a brilliant job. Would recommend to anyone!

I returned to my, admittedly old Renault Clio after a Park Run to be greeted with a puddle in the passenger and rear footwell. Took it in to my trusted garage, Gary Hawkins Motors, and was told that this was a common problem. They cleared out the rubbish from the seals which remedied the problem for a few days. But then it returned. I was advised that this was an expensive sunroof removal and repair. I was looking at least £140. Almost as much as the car was worth!! Long and short, a friend suggested Martin Bridle simply because he has been there years. I phoned Martin up, explained the problem and he took it in his stride over the phone. Told me to bring it in same day - which is what I needed. Really friendly guy. He explained all the ins and outs of the problems - apparently his daughter had a Clio and this is a common fault. Mine is a 98 with electric roof. Told me the price beforehand - £40 + VAT so £48 total. Left it with him just over an hour and returned. I have had NO water ingress since so I am very happy!! I haven't dared open the sunroof a} because there has been no need as it's still winter and a long freezing wet one and b} because I don't want to tempt fate. But I honestly think I may be able to when the weather dries up. Who cares? He fixed my leaking roof for a decent price, quickly and definitely seems like an expert. I would recommend this specific service to anyone and based on that if I ever have any other issues with leaks or windscreens he is the first guy I would contact. Thanks Martin!!
