Melbourne Hall Craft Centre

With its broad sweeps of lawn, avenues and unexpected vistas, it is one of the best known historic gardens in the country and the best surviving early 18th century English garden in the manner of Le Notre. That said, you don’t have to be a historian or horticulturalist to enjoy the beauty of Melbourne Hall Gardens.

Highly recommended for a visit! Breathtaking scenery sounds the craft centre. Beautiful traditional buildings, with modern properties melding perfectly within the location. Designer shops, antique sellers and tool sharpeners are only a few traders to mention within thev craft centre grounds. Courtyard offers elegant beers and edibles with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Personaly, did not have the chance to dine at tea rooms adjacent to hall gardens, however the surrounding grounds are fabulous for walkers of all capabilities dependent on duration. All pathways I discovered were immaculately preserved and truly beneficial towards a brief reconnection to our natural country side. Well worth a visit

It's National Trust. What do you think you will experience? You'll get quality baked goods, average machine coffee, friendly service, robust prices, and extremely long queues on a sunny weekend. It is what it is. Its not my bag but the thousands of silver surfer members can't all be wrong
