Sam Soliman5 StarWouldn’t go anywhere else for tyres but my local frimley green Merit Tyre. They are always friendly, always try and offer you a selection of tyres including the cheapest price. Always do the tyre quickly while you wait if it’s in stock. This week my battery failed while opposite at the post office and I went over to ask for some help. This was no problem, within minutes a friendly mechanic was crossing the street with a battery and got me up and running. Now that’s above and beyond customer service.

Gerri Lopes1 StarIf I could give no stars I would. Went in and asked for a quote for 4 tires. The mechanic said he would get the sizes. Another woman walks in about 10 minutes after me, obviously on familiar terms with him calling him by name, asks him for a quote for her daughters car, he immediately went out to her car, came back, gave her a quote, took payment, booked her in and disappeared... I waited for another 15 minutes - he never went near my car to check the tire size and never came back to the waiting room. Shocking service Mick - especially as I have been buying my tires here for 10+ years.Friday 2nd December 2022
Jamie C1 StarAppointment not kept & tyres over inflated.
I had an appointment booked for 8:30-12:30. I arrived at 9:40 to be told "We're busy come back after lunch".
I explained I had an appointment booked & the guy just shrugged his shoulders.
I called after lunch to see if I could get my already paid for tyres fitted & was told there was a 2hr wait as "It's first come first serve". Why take appointments if that's the case? A simple email or call to advise it's first come first serve would be nice before the appointment.
Eventually my tyres were fitted, but were massively over inflated when I checked at home as my steering felt extremely light. One tyre reading 45psi & the other 42psi, the recommend pressure for my car is 34psi.
This over inflation will not only cause my tyres to wear out more quickly, but is also dangerous as not as much of the rubber will be touching the road so therefore greater braking distances.
I had to change all my plans for the day to come back after lunch at great expense to myself.
