James Mills4 StarNice place that is on the very pricey side. A slice of cake is about a fiver! We received a voucher so got a cream tea (scone, cream, jam and tea) half price so only £3.50.Tuesday 1st August 2023
Tim H Darch1 StarWent in and ordered a Ham and Cheddar Ploughman. Had to wait a short while for it to arrive, but then found there was no cheddar on the plate.
The server never made a comment when they brought it to the table, so I had to go back to the counter to ask, they then went into the kitchen to find out why.
Allegedly they had run out of cheddar, no apologies. I pointed out that if I had known that, I would have ordered an alternative meal. They were not interested, and they didn't care that I had paid for something I never received!

Queueing for 20 minutes only to be told no hot food.
Asked for 3 teas and decaf coffee, got 2 teas and 2 coffee’s.
